    Dad's Homemade Chili

When I was single, about 1985, my dad used to come over for a week or two to visit and he taught me how to make "his" chili. I am going to the store today to buy the ingredients that I can recall that he used.

    • 46 oz large can of Tomato Juice (for the base)
    • 11/4 lb ground beef
    • 1 large onion
    • 11/2 green pepper
    • 2 cans chopped tomatoes (stewed, canned)
    • 3 cans light red kidney beans (canned)
    • 1 tbsp. chili powder
    • 1/3 lb spaghetti noodles (break into small pieces)
    • sour cream
    • sharp cheddar cheese
Hoping it turns out like his, should be good even if it isn't perfect on the first try!
